Day 26 of 26 Titles in December Sandra Nicholson Backstory

I never thought juggling between series was such a task. By this time in my writing career, I had four: The Guilty/Jamieson Legacy series; Carmen Sisters series; Love at The Crossroads; and Anderson Brother series. In my mind, I dare not introduce the series waiting in the wing until I bring these to a close. Since I fell in love with Kidd and Ace Jamieson's mother, Sandra Nicholson, in Guilty by Association, The Guilt Trip and finally, Free from Guilt, I wanted her to find happiness. Sandra had gambled on love and lost, or so she thought, but there is life after a betrayal. In this short read, I wanted to bring my readers up-to-date before Sandra got a second chance at love in The Confession. You don't have to read Sandra Nicholson's Back Story before reading The Confession, but if you do, Sandra will win your heart. Another short read, A NOELLE FOR NATHAN, makes a great day after Christmas holiday read.

Day 25 of 25 Titles in December. A Redeeming Heart

If you'd read In Defense of Love, you remember Landon Thomas, a man who deserved every fiery dart aimed at him for his mischief. Originally, my plan was to have Landon's story as a sequel of In Defense of Love, but my publisher decided to stick with the Carmen Sisters as the main characters. Okay, but Landon's story needed to be told. As another indie project, I was back to naming the title game again, not a small task when I had to consider phrase recognition, key words, plus the story plot. All I knew was God can redeem any repenting soul, but it had to come from the heart. Not a small task for Landon Thomas in Redeeming Heart. Have a Merry Christmas. Enjoy the day by downloading a heartwarming tale, A NOELLE FOR NATHAN.

Day 24 of 25 Titles in December In Defense of Love

My second favorite book, In Defense of Love, kicked off my 2015 releases. A major scene in the story was inspired by the late Sister Patterson's testimony at my church. The awesomeness of God was manifested, so I had to share it with my readers--a surprise ending. :) I was excited when my literary agent at the time told me a film company requested to read the manuscript. She said it was a long shot. Whether film company picks it up or not, I feel at least someone "proposed to me" whether I make it to the altar or not with a movie deal. Glad I'm married. :) A NOELLE FOR NATHAN would make a great Christmas Eve read.

Day 23 of 25 Titles in December Christmas Greetings

I ended 2014 with Christmas Greetings.  God gave me this touching story for those who were brokenhearted during the holidays, whether because of the death of a loved one or the drama between the ones they loved. As I wrote this novella, I cried, smiled and praised God throughout the story. My hope was that the process of emotional and spiritual healing began for readers who felt empty inside. Another uplifting Christmas story is A NOELLE FOR NATHAN.

Day 22 of 25 Titles in December. What God Has For You

Fall of 2014, I introduced Book 4 in the Love at the Crossroads series What God Has For Me. Originally, I had planned to name this story A Man's Treasure, but there were too many books with that same title listed on Amazon. After sitting in on a workshop at a RWA conference that summer, I learned the importance of key words and phrase recognition in titles, so I borrowed the words from the popular gospel song "What God Has for Me It Is for Me." Whether somebody knows the song or not, they could relate to the phrase. My story's message: despite a person's past choices, be encouraged. Whoever and whatever God has for a person, it's a done deal. They key is a willing heart to walk with God. In this Christmas season, I offer another inspiring tale in A NOELLE FOR NATHAN.

Day 21 of 25 Titles in December No Easy Catch

 No Easy Catch
Believe it or not, No Easy Catch, Book I in the Carmen Sisters series, was on deck (pun intended) on April 1, 2014.  Shae's story had been a long time coming. I began writing this in 1999. It was a stop and go project until I finished about 2004. Then the story line went through a metamorphosis before it was published ten years later. The name changed from Hope Chest to Delirious to A Strike at Love and finally No Easy Catch was the winner. Make A NOELLE FOR NATHAN a winner this Christmas season.

Day 20 of 25 Titles in December The Keepsake

A few weeks later in March 2014, I released The Keepsake, the third book in the Love at the Crossroads series, and my first-ever story about infidelity. To be honest, I wasn't excited to write this, but God gave me the outline twice. Need I say more? But I didn't want to focus on the affair, so I began the story when Desi confronted her husband Michael Bishop. Since happy endings are God's specialties, this story is filled with repentance, reconciliation, forgiveness, prayer and faith. I'm honored to say that The Keepsake has been used for couples' ministry. Don't forget to download A NOELLE FOR NATHAN for a Christmastime happy ending.
