Day 5 of 30 Titles in December Crowning Glory

Crowning Glory, released in 2010, was my fifth and final novel with Urban Christian Publisher.  To this day, it remains one of my favorite books. I interviewed a victim of crime, which I was messed up the rest of my day after she shared how her husband was murdered six months earlier--whew. Again for realism, I interviewed a perpetrator of a crime (former female inmate), since my character served time in prison. I learned women were the fastest growing prison population. Wow. I fell in love with ALL my characters. While writing Crowning Glory, I kept asking God how could He love pedophiles, rapists, murders, homosexuals and others who commit sexual immorality? By the end of the book, I had my answer. He looks behind their faults, as Jesus did mine, and sees their needs. As a Christian, I am charged with loving people, even knowing their sins. If you haven't read this story, read it. The sequel, Love Led by the Spirit comes out Spring 2016.

Day 1 of 30 Titles in December Guilty of Love

 Guilty of Love
September 2007, GUILTY OF LOVE, hit the scene, breaking sales records--that was God! I received emails from strangers who told me the story for written for them. How was I to know the story of a woman (Cheney Reynolds) who was recovering from a botched abortion and my love for African American history and genealogy (Parke Jamieson VI) would stark The Guilty series/Jamieson Legacy eight years and eight books later? Thanks to all. http://goo.gl/WraK3V. Who here hasn't read this tale?

Day 2 of 30 Titles in December Talk to Me

 Talk to Me
TALK TO ME was published November 2008. This was an unique story line, inspired by my brother-in-law who was born Deaf. My character loss his hearing. The story was written during a time when my last living grandmother was dying. A good friend and fellow author Lisa Watson and I would joke Grandma ain't dead, because she had survived so much. I had to get a writing extension, because my sense of humor was gone. I will never forget the time I spent with Grandma Jessie who suffered with advance stages of dementia, and God's awesomeness as I witnessed her crying out to the Lord Jesus repenting. That will always stay with me. I was able to finish the story with a happy ending. TALK TO ME went on to win an award and I was grateful that my writing career now had two winners: GUILTY OF LOVE and TALK TO ME. Tomorrow, I'll talk about my third tile. Check out Noel and MacKenzie's love story.

Day 3 of 30 Titles in December Not Guilty of Love

 Not Guilty of Love
October 2009 ushered in my third Christian romance novel...it was the sequel to GUILTY OF LOVE. Readers said Hali and Malcolm needed their own story and I delivered...NOT GUILTY OF LOVE highlighted the romance between a woman who walked away from God and a man who never knew God. My cousin said I had her on the edge of her seat, she had to skip to the end to make sure everything was going to be all right. smile emoticon Share your memories of Malcolm Jamieson and Hallison Dinkins in NOT GUILTY OF LOVE.

Day 4 of 30 Titles in December Still Guilty

 Still Guilty
STILL GUILTY came on the scene in April 2010. By this time, it was the third book in the Guilty series and readers couldn't get enough of ‪#‎teamParkeand‬ Cheney. So basically, this was a continuation of their story from Book I: GUILTY OF LOVE. I had mentioned Kidd and Ace, but had no intention of writing about the baby brother Cameron. Of course, readers and a new book contract changed that, so the Jamieson Legacy is now 8 books strong.
