Happy New Year! "Ten Things I Learned About Publishing in 2015" REPOST

Welcome to 2016. After a few weeks of detoxing characters from my head, I started writing my first 2016 release: Every Woman Needs A Praying Man.  When I took a break to check my email, someone shared this article. For all my author friends, this one is for you.

Day 30 of 30 Titles in December

Well, this is the final December posting of my published works since 2007, and the journey has been trying at times, rewarding at others, but always humbling to the glory of God. With 2016 two days away, it seems appropriate to leave you with my first non-fiction piece. Actually, it was a testimony included in Keeping the Faith anthology. "If I Should Die Before I Wake" is a "but God" praise that has settled in my soul. It's only ten pages and free to download. If you're still in the holiday spirit, don't forget about A NOELLE FOR NATHAN. Want a second chance at love? THE CONFESSION will give you hope. Thanks for reading and happy New Year!

Day 29 of 29 Titles in December A Noelle For Nathan

For three years in a row, I've been able to give readers a Christmas tale to enjoy (A Christian Christmas, A Baby for Christmas and Christmas Greetings). However, with travel demands and writing deadlines this year, I was doubtful I could move forward with just an idea and nothing more. As a matter of fact, readers in my Christian author Pat Simmons FB group came up with the title. Even the cover for A Noelle for Nathan was revised three times!! I also realized by telling Nathan's story, I had created and concluded a series that hadn't been in my original scheme of things. A Noelle for Nathan became Book 3 in the Andersen Brothers series. I have to say I've received great reviews on a story that was almost wasn't told. Enjoy it today with a 1-Click on Amazon.

Day 28 of 28 Titles in December The Confession

After I gave readers Sandra Nicholson's Back Story this past summer, fans waited impatiently, judging from emails I received, for the release of her story in The Confession. Not only did the Jamieson Legacy continue, but this was my first full-length novel with characters in their mid-fifties finding love again. In this 2015 **New Release,** Kidd and Ace's mother is the epitome of a godly woman after Christ's salvation set her free from past regrets. Of course, it wouldn't be part of the Jamieson Legacy without some Black history tidbits weaved into the story line. The next book in the series is already in the works. While you wait, enjoy A NOELLE FOR NATHAN now.

Day 27 of 27 Titles in December Driven to Be Loved

Driven to Be Loved was my third full-length novel in 2015, behind In Defense of Love and Redeeming Heart.  Brecee's story wasn't included in my original proposal to Whitaker House, so I had to come up with a story idea in less than four months. Plus, as with every book, I had to do my research and the clock was ticking toward that January 1, 2015 deadline to my publisher. I'm always grateful when busy professional people take my calls and reply to my emails, otherwise, my stories would lack depth. I began to write not knowing where the story would go. By page 100, the Lord gave me direction and everything seemed to fall in place. Just for fun, I included a little known fact about me at the end of Adrian and Brecee's story. Also, make A NOELLE FOR NATHAN a fun holiday read.
